In Albania exist a similar day as the Remembrance day.

It is on the 5th of May and it is known as the Martyr's Day.

It is not a holiday or something like that. Actually people used to remember it every year.

Even now people do remember it.

The families and relatives of the martyrs take flowers to the graves of their loved people. They even try to remember their heroisms.

The government too gives their support and help if needed. They also visit people who actually have gave their contribute for the country's freedom or even their families.

It is also held a two minute silence in honor of those who gave their life for their country.
